Right on the sand at Port Beach in North Fremantle, COAST is a breezy beach-house venue with the Indian Ocean as your backdrop. A barefoot ceremony, a festoon-lit Boathouse to dance in, and a sunset that does half my job for me. As a Perth wedding photographer, it is one of the most relaxed, golden venues I get to shoot, and the light off the water is something else.

Right on Port Beach
COAST sits on the sand at Port Beach, a short hop from Fremantle. Bare feet, a sea breeze and the Indian Ocean a few steps away. It sets a relaxed, barefoot kind of tone for the whole day.
The Boathouse reception
Your reception lives in the Boathouse, all warm timber floors, festoon lights and that easy beach-house feel. It is made for long lunches that roll into loud nights, and it glows the moment the sun starts to drop.
Ocean in every window
Floor-to-ceiling glass keeps the ocean in frame all evening. As the light shifts over the water, so does the whole mood, soft and warm and a little cinematic, with zero effort from you.
Perth’s best sunset
COAST faces west over the water, so the sunset is the headline act. About twenty minutes before it drops, I will steal you onto the sand for a few quiet minutes. This is where the magic happens, and these are the photos that end up on your wall.

COAST leans all the way into the laid-back coastal thing, and it suits a relaxed celebration beautifully. The little touches, the drinks, the festoon glow, the salt in the air, all add up to a day that feels like a long summer evening with your favourite people.
